I remember hearing some of this wisdom from Jim & Michele McCarthy in their <A HREF="http://mccarthyshow.com" REL="nofollow">podcast</A>, especially looking at your boss as your best customer. That's definitely been helpful to me. I've heard Michele say a number of times that leading is just doing something or going somewhere first. Lots and (LOTS) of books are being written about leadership, not all of which really put a lot of light on this for me.
